Center for Dance and Body (“CDAB,” “we,” or “us”) takes your privacy seriously. We recognize that privacy is important to you, and we are committed to protecting your privacy rights. We do not sell, rent or share personally-identifiable information collected during your use of our Website without your permission (personally identifiable information is information that identifies a particular person). We use the information we collect about you to provide the services you order, and we may use it to keep in touch with you about what we are doing.

CDAB collects two types of information: 1. Information You Provide – When you create an account or sign up for a service with CDAB, we collect and store your name and other personally-identifiable information that you provide. We use this information to provide the services that you request from us and to let you know of additional goods and services you might be interested in. 2. Tracking & Cookies – We automatically gather general statistical information about our Website and visitors, such as IP addresses, web browsers, pages viewed, number of visitors, services purchased, etc, but we do not reference you by personally identifiable information. We use this data in aggregate form to determine how our Website is used so we can improve the Website. We may provide this statistical information to third parties, but we do not provide personally identifiable information. We use cookies to store and sometimes track information about you and how you use our Website. A cookie is a small amount of data that we store on your computer’s hard drive. Generally, we use cookies (a) to remind us of who you are to enable us to access your account information so you do not have to re-enter it and (b) to gather statistical information about usage of our website. You can set preferences and options in your browser to determine whether and how a cookie will be accepted. If you disable cookies on your computer, you may be required to re-enter your information more often and certain features of our Website may be unavailable.

Some of the functionality on our Website is provided through other services or websites such as Zoom. They may have different privacy practices, and we do not have control over their use of personally identifiable information. We encourage you to read their privacy policies.

When you use our services, you will have some control over what information is displayed to our other users. For example, you may choose to participate in an activity as a private user so other participants will not see video of you, or you may choose to mute your audio so you will not be heard by other participants. You are solely responsible for controlling those settings on your computer. However, in order for you to receive audio, you must use Zoom, and other participants will be able to view your Zoom name.

In addition to the limited uses of information described above, we may also disclose personally identifiable information in the following limited circumstances: (a) we may have trusted service providers who have access to personally identifiable information as necessary to make it possible for us to deliver our services to you. For example, our website is hosted by a company that provides technology services to us. We require that our service providers agree to process such information based on our instructions and in compliance with this Policy and any other appropriate confidentiality and security measures we establish; (b) we may respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims; (c) we may determine it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of our terms of use, or as otherwise required by law; and (d) we may transfer personally identifiable information if we are acquired by or merged with another company.

All information gathered on our Website is accessible only to us and our authorized employees, contractors and vendors. These individuals are bound by confidentiality obligations and may be subject to discipline, including termination and criminal prosecution, if they fail to meet these obligations. We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of data. However, no security system is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee the complete security of our database, or that information you provide won’t be intercepted while being transmitted to us over the Internet. If you don’t want us to know any particular information about you, don’t include it in anything that you submit or post to this website or send to us in e-mail.

When you use our services, we request that you provide accurate and truthful information to enable us to identify you. To update, correct or delete this information, you can contact us at
